So you want to start your own herb garden?

There’s nothing better than your own herb garden. It’s great when you want to relax and its an amazing hobby to pour yourself into. There’s nothing like planting something and seeing it grow, and if you fertilise your soil correctly the herbs and plants will shoot up! Here are a few tips and things you can use for your herb garden as well as a few plants we suggest you start out with.

Before you plant your herbs you should clear the spot off any weeds as well as big stones, trash and junk. When you are finished clearing the area throw on compost and start working it into the earth, be throughout and see how deep you can work it in.

Good herbs and vegetables to plant are:
Chives
Basil
Cabbages
Rosemary
Thyme
Penny Royale
Cherry Tomatoes

These herb and vegetables are relatively easy to grow and for a first time garden should be perfect to maintain.
